| The Indoor Parking option for registration is a unique opportunity for the Fiero Community to showcase the finest examples of the Pontiac Fiero significant to the trends and history that the Fiero has experienced over the course of the past 30 years. Since this registration option is unique and very limited to a maximum of 40 Fieros, a list of rules required of the participant for each Fiero entered are provided below. Also listed are stipulations, set forth by the Wyndham policy guide and the 30th Anniversary show planning committee that a participant needs to understand and consider when registering for indoor parking. - Each Fiero must have complete control over fuel vapor and leakage. The fuel tank shall have a fuel level of 1/8 or less. The fuel system shall be a closed system that is not vented to the atmosphere. Each Fiero will be inspected for compliance to this rule. Any fuel odor or leakage detected from a participant's Fiero will be subject to immediate removal from the building.
- The vehicle battery shall be disconnected.
- A fire extinguisher with a minimum size and class of 2.5lb, size 1, type B, C shall be placed behind the left front tire for a standardized ease of access in the event of an emergency.
- Plastic Sheeting shall be placed under each Fiero to prevent any fluid leakage on to the exhibition hall carpet. The 30th Anniversary Event organizers will provide the plastic sheeting.
- Absolutely, no running vehicle will be allowed in the exhibition hall. No Exceptions.
- The participant understands that each Fiero will pushed by only handling the tires from the point of entry to the final exhibit position in the hall. The 30th Anniversary Committee has trusted assigned people available to guide and assist in placing your Fiero. In the event that you are not comfortable with our staff volunteers handling your Fiero, please have on hand a means of placing your own vehicle under the Event Staff's Supervision.
- It is the sole responsibility of the Fiero owner to ensure that the car will roll on carpet with minimal effort. The Fiero shall be free of defects in mechanical systems that will prevent four people from rolling the car by pushing on the tires to the point of exhibit. The event organizers reserve the right to refuse any Fiero entry to the exhibit hall deemed as hard to manipulate to the designated exhibit location. A test before arriving to the event with your Fiero to insure compliance with this stipulation would be that the car will roll on a hard flat surface with the car in neutral and pushed by one tire by one person.
- The participant understands that a means of direct contact, preferably by cell phone, shall be available to the event organizers during the period that the Fiero is in the exhibition hall to communicate any needs experienced during the event.
- The participant is aware that no stanchions or ropes will be provided nor allowed due to the limited amount of floor space available. Each participant requiring additional space for exhibit materials in addition to their Fiero shall contact the 30th Anniversary Planning Committee to make arrangements if space is available.
- The participant is aware that immediately following the show hours, the Fiero owner has the option of removing their Fiero or will be available to move their Fiero indoors to accommodate preparations for the Historical Presentation. The 7pm Historical Presentation Night will take place in the exhibition hall and the event organizers will need to compress the car layout to accommodate the group of people in attendance.
- The 30th Anniversary Planning Committee will review all indoor registration applications. The event organizers reserve the right to accept or reject any Fiero registered for the indoor parking option. It is the sole intention of the event organizers to provide an exhibit of the most diverse examples of the Pontiac Fiero. All indoor parking registration fees will be gladly refunded in the event that your Fiero is not placed in the Indoor Parking. It is suggested that each participant considering the indoor parking option send detailed photos of the Fiero intended to be registered to the Event Chairman, Fred Bartemeyer, found on the "Contact Us" tab at www.fiero30th.com for review by 30th Anniversary Show committee.
- Entrance and Exit to the exhibition hall will be limited to times specified by the Hotel Facilities Manager in order to control the buildings HVAC and Security system requirements.
- Special considerations will be made for Fieros wishing to participate in the Friday IMS activities. It is the Fiero owner's responsibility to notify the Show Organizers if they will need to remove their Fiero from the exhibit hall for Friday's activities.
